Shram Sanskar Youth Camp At Hemalkasa From May 15th

With the inspiration of Baba Amte the Shram Sanskar (Dignity Of Labour ) Youth camp has been taking place at Maharogi Sewa Samati’s Somnath Project in Chandrapur District of  Maharashtra State, since last 42 years. Youths from all over the country have been actively participating in the camp but for the first time this Shram Sanskar (Dignity Of Labour ) Youth camp is taking place at Lok Biradari Prakalp, District Gadchiroli of Maharashtra from 15th to 22nd may 2010.

 

Since 1973, Lok Biradari Prakalp has been working for the Madia and Gond, the most backward (undeveloped) tribal of  India. It also work for their all around development . Dr. Prakash Amte and Dr. Mandakini Amte along with dedicated ‘Band Of Workers’ has been running this project for last 36 years. 

 

Baba worked for one of the most neglected and ostracized section the leprosy afflicted, inspiring them to be self-reliant and making them desist from charity. His massage of services went on to cover the blind, the deaf and dumb, the physically challenged, the unemployed youth and all those who do not enjoy the place of privilege in the society. He initiated ‘Bharat Jodo’ (Knit India) movement and involved thousands for the cause of national integration. Maharogi Sewa Samiti’s Project have ever been the work shop of service to the society. The once who had not even seen face of there mothers, have made miracles out of moles. 

 

In the scorching heat of the May, thousands of enthusiastic youth imbibe the concept of Sharm Sanskar through the camp.  Young boys and girls work in the lap of nature to fructify the tradition of labour . There is a healthy interaction on current burning issues of the nations as well. Today’s young generation is the foundation of tomorrows strong nations, was Baba’s firm convictions till the last breath of his life.

 

In order to full fill Baba’s dream, everybody is gearing up for this year’s camp with the hope that it will have maximum participation from all regions of the country.
